We are looking at renting one of your limousines, do you have an hourly minimum?
Depends, weekdays, we can usually accommodate most any request. However, because Friday and Saturday nights are the busiest nights out of the week for limousine companies, we reserve our limousines for a minimum of 4 hourly rentals. Busier nights out of the year, for instance, prom nights, new years eve, holidays etc may require higher hourly minimums. Please call us if you have any questions.
How much do I have to put down as a deposit?
20% is an industry standard deposit that is non-refundable if cancelled after booking less than 2 weeks before the date of rental. The deposit may be used towards another night if available and approved by Heaven On Wheels management. Some high demand rentals may require a higher deposit of 25%, like proms and special events. This deposit Guarantees your rental for the night you reserved.
When is the remainder amount charged?
If paying the remainder of the charges in cash, you may pay up to the day of the rental. If you would like to use your credit card, the full amount must be paid in full one week before your rental date. If paying check, we require the check a minimum of 2 weeks before the event.
What if we went over the original times we reserved our limo for?
Ordinarily that will not be an issue unless that specific vehicle has been booked later after your rental. We can not guarantee hours after your originally booked times. For instance, if you reserved our Hummer limo from 5pm-11pm, your Hummer is guaranteed between 5-11pm. If your party wanted to go over after 11pm, we may be able to accommodate you, however, if that specific Hummer was rented previously to another party, we may not be able to accommodate your request.
If I did want to go over on my times, and the vehicle was available, how much would I have to pay?
We do not charge "overtime" fees for our limousines. If your vehicle was $125/hr, then that will be how much it will cost in case you went over your time, plus gratuity.
Is gratuity included?
No, we do not include gratuity in our prices. We do request however that our chauffeurs be given a minimum of 20% on the night of the event. Our chauffeurs are highly experienced and trained and are professionals. We would require nothing less of someone who will be driving you, your family members and friends and who take responsibility of many lives on any given night. Being professionals, they rely highly on their gratuity as a main source of income. Tips are greatly appreciated.
Why do you require a contract?
For a number of reasons actually. First, it is required by the credit card companies. As merchants, we have to show proof of service. In order for us to do that, the merchant companies require, in order to prevent fraud, a contract in detail of all charges authorized, copy of credit card users drivers license as well as a copy of the credit card, front and back. We understand this is unorthodox, but, most of our transactions are done over the phone and we can not scan your credit card like they do at the store. Also, these are large transactions that need to be proven as authorized charges by the card hold.
Secondly, these are very expensive vehicles. We do our best keeping all our limousines looking like they just rolled off the show room floor. Damage to our vehicles by any means (ie broken glasses, ripped upholstery, smoke, vomit or other bodily fluids) are the responsibility of the customer.
What is included with my limousine rental?
For all hourly charters, our limousines have coolers stocked with bottled water, sodas and ice. For weddings and special occasions, we can a red carpet and "Just Married" magnets. We also have "Happy Birthday," magnets, as well as "Feliz Cumpleanos."
Does it matter how many stops we have?
No, if you booked one of our limos from 10pm to 3am, the limousine is yours for that time period.
Do you charge travel time? What time do you start charging, from the time you leave your shop or the time you pick us up?
For areas 30 minutes outside of Dallas, we charge travel time. Our travel time is $70/hr billed in half hour increments. Your rental time starts from the time we pick up the first member of your party to the time we drop the last member off.
Are there any other fees?
Tolls are charged at cost. DFW airport and Dallas Love Field pick ups and drop offs are charged an extra $5 for airport tolls that are charged to limousine companies. Sales tax are not charged since limousine services are a service. Any company that tells you that you must pay sales tax are trying to rip you off.
Can we have alcohol in the limousine?
Yes, as long as everyone in the limousine is over the age of 21. ID's may be checked as it is the responsibility of the driver to assure that there are no underage drinkers. Per our contract, any illegal activity is grounds for rental termination with no refund.
For those parties that are over the age of 21, it is BYOB. We can not legally provide alcohol per State laws, however, we can stop at liquor stores throughout the night if you wish.
Can we smoke in the limousine?
Smoking is not permitted in any of our limousines and may result in extra clean-up charge.
Can we bring our own music?
Absolutely, it is encouraged. All limousines have CD players, DVD players, I-pod connectivity and our Hummer H2 limos all have Sirius Satellite radio.
